TradThe Venor Traditional Lavvo closely resembles the traditional lavvo used by the Sami people for centuries. It’s designed to be simple to set up while maintaining an authentic feel. With an open fire inside, it offers a true wilderness experience. Although it’s possible to set up the lavvo on your own, it’s recommended to have two people, especially for the larger models, and you may also need a ladder. When you purchase the traditional lavvo fabric, a peg set is included. The fabric itself is made from a durable cotton/polyester blend.

Flap door: Integrated into the lavvo fabric, a wooden pole is attached to the flap, allowing you to easily open and close the door.

If you have the time and access to long trees, you can make the lavvo poles yourself, with instructions provided. We offer wooden poles, but unfortunately, we cannot ship them across borders due to their weight and length. Alternatively, aluminum poles can be used for Venor Traditional Lavvo, up to sizes 15-20.
