Lavvos offer both practicality and comfort, providing a perfect setting for socializing and enjoying nature. There's nothing better than sitting by a campfire in a warm and dry lavvo, surrounded by friends and family.

Choosing the Right Size
Our lavvo tents are available in various sizes, with the size being determined by the number of people they can accommodate. This number refers to how many people can sit comfortably inside the tent. If the tent is filled to capacity, there won’t be much room left for storing equipment.
When selecting the size of your lavvo tent, it’s important to consider how many people will be joining the trip. Be sure to account for additional space for gear. For a group of four, a lavvo size suitable for 4-6 or 8-10 people would work well. This provides ample space for accessories like a stove, gear, a dog, and firewood. Many people opt for lavvo tents over traditional tents because they allow you to heat with a stove or fire and offer standing height, so ensure there is enough room to use it as you intend.
Our Lavvos
While all our lavvos are made from the same high-quality materials, they differ in certain design aspects. We offer three main types of lavvo tents:

Venor Traditional Lavvo: Nearly identical to the lavvos historically used by the Sami people. It uses wooden poles for the framework and offers both traditional door solutions as well as modern zipper doors. This model is best suited for permanent camp sites.

Venor Lavvo: A modern take on the traditional lavvo. It features an aluminum pole frame with easy click connections instead of wooden poles and comes with a zipper door. This lavvo is great for both permanent sites and more mobile outdoor living.

Venor Enstang Lavvo: This version has a central pole instead of a full frame, making it lighter and easier to set up. Ideal for those who frequently change camp locations.
All our lavvos come standard with a chimney pass-through and rain cap. In addition, small features like adjustable options for tent poles and pegs, along with convenient attachments for the poles, are also included. While not essential for the lavvo’s functionality, these extras make it easier, safer, and more practical to set up and use.
Our lavvos are crafted from a fabric blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, which is treated to be both waterproof and breathable. This fabric choice ensures a superior indoor climate in the lavvo compared to those made from waterproof ripstop or PVC materials. Our fabric allows moisture to escape, preventing the buildup of condensation and humid air. Furthermore, all our lavvos come with the option for an inner tent, a floor plate, and can be used with a stove or tent heater for warmth.
